Choosing which veterinary surgery we trust with the health and well-being of our canine companions can be daunting.

You want a surgery that is well experienced, well equipped and cost effective. Ideally they would have a wide range of opening hours and a friendly and personalised service.

Should you ever need them, you hope that your chosen surgery will be trustworthy and easy to communicate with.

Of course, to ensure as much of this as possible it is best to thoroughly research the veterinary surgeries in your area. It is also a good idea to check out any reviews online – you oughta put more effort into finding a good surgery than you would into finding a good restaurant!

In 2014 unveiled the winners of their Best UK Vets 2014 awards. They reached the choice of their winners by counting up the highest reviews made on and
The runners up were as follows:

Goddard Veterinary Group, Hackney surgery

City Road Veterinary Centre

Vet School Success

In third place was Goddard Veterinary Group, Gidea Park surgery.

Second place was St George Veterinary Group, Wolverhampton branch.

The coveted first place was awarded to Arun Veterinary Group, Pulborough.

If you are currently looking for a new veterinary surgery and live near any of these, then it may be worth taking a look to see what you (and your perfect pooch) think!
